485 Route 1, Iselin NJ
This central New Jersey office complex called for a complete modernization of the existing equipment.
485 Route 1, Iselin NJTo match the cars’ updated mechanics, Liberty was called upon to refurbish eight interior cabs at the C, D, E, and F Buildings.
The challenge at this location was that no freight car existed; each car was used for both passengers and service. This required the design to be both aesthetically appealing and fully functional.
The diamond plated patterned metal beneath the handrail was installed to comply with the practical demands of movers and handcarts, while maintaining visual attractiveness for its tenants.
The above laminate compliments the patterned metal. This style has become popular because of the profusion of design options available, coupled with its lasting durability. Woven metals provide a sophisticated look with the same resilience as a more industrial looking design.
Once the interior of the cabs were re-finished, the doors were faced with satin stainless-steel to mimic its sharp look.
In response to working with Liberty Elevator, Paul Faris, of Colliers International believes,
“Liberty Elevator is a valued partner that provides the type of service excellence and professionalism we bring to our tenants and clients. I am especially impressed with the interior cab upgrades Liberty Elevator recently completed in four of our buildings. The ‘rough rider’ design is functional and looks great! It’s perfect for office buildings that do not have dedicated freight elevators.”
