Description

Liberty Elevator Corporation is seeking a reliable Warehouse Manager to join our Paterson, NJ team, offering competitive wages and full-time hours. This role will be responsible for organizing the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods, parts, tools, and support to ensure that field operations operate as efficiently as possible.

The Warehouse Manager will report Monday-Friday to the 24th Street location in Paterson, NJ but may require travel throughout the NY Metro area to assist in deliveries or parts retrieval.  

Responsibilities

  • Open the Warehouse
  • Maintain a well-organized Shop.
  • Organizing shipments
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
  • Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy.
  • Coordinate drivers, vehicles, loads and journeys when needed.
  • Oversee Vehicle fleet. 
  • Keep all vehicles in good well-maintained working order.
  • Assume Office "handyman" duties.
  • Supervise Shop, office, yard and building maintenance.
  • Track material Lead times and follow up with emails/phone calls as necessary.
  • Use software to monitor demand and document where equipment, parts, materials, inventory, and tools are located.

  • Package and send boards/drive out for repair and follow up on progress and tracking info.
  • Assist in the Supervision of Loading and unloading of deliveries.
  • Document disposal of all waste and materials.
  • Track valves and motors for core return fulfillments
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory, ensure inventory is reconciled.
  • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trusting relationships.
  • Actively assist in the improvement of Liberty Elevator Warehouse Operations.
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
  • Always plan and deal with unexpected changes.
